SOYSAND is sustainable because its leading ingredient is the by-product that comes from producing food-grade tofu.  It is soy-based, with no harsh chemicals or harmful additives making it eco-friendly and biodegradable.

Compatible with Self-Cleaning Litter Boxes

Other Tofu litters are pellet shaped, and do not sift well through the grates, or rakes of Self-cleaning Litter Boxes. SOYSAND’s unique shape is similar to traditional clay litters, which are all compatible with Self-cleaning Litter Boxes. If the litter box works with clumping litters, it will work with SOYSAND.

99.9% Dust-free

During production SOYSAND is filtered through a 13-lane dust removal system prior to packaging.  Additionally, the increased density of SOYSAND granules means there is less dust created from granules rubbing against each other as it is harder to break than clay, or other eco-friendly litters.  Compared to Clay, SOYSAND produces 99.9%  less dust.

NOTE: While the low-dust properties of SOYSAND can help prevent respiratory issues in humans and pets, the parasite “Toxoplasma Gondii” can still be found in cat feces, and should therefore be avoided overall by pregnant women as well as immune-suppressed individuals.  Please always take proper sanitary precautions when handling dirty litter and used litter boxes.

Natural Odor Control

Soy is naturally acidic and works to neutralize the ammonia in urine eliminating the typical "cat box" smell associated with most litters.  SOYSAND will keep your litter box fresher for longer, regardless of the scent you choose. Scented SOYSAND has a natural aroma, often compared to "baked goods", "coconut sun screen" or even "milk tea".  Unscented SOYSAND is odorless but is still maintains its ability to break down odors.

Low Tracking

SOYSAND granules measure 2mm-6mm, so they are larger than traditional clay litters. The larger size helps prevent it from getting caught on fur, or between toes, keeping the litter in place, and not tracked throughout the house.

Easy Scoop

Scooping into SOYSAND is effortless, and like digging in sand. SOYSAND’s grain size falls easily through the holes in your scoop for a quick separation and thorough sifting. This prevents loose litter from being tossed, increasing the longevity of your bag, and keeps litter fresher for longer.

Forms Tight Clumps

SOYSAND granules quickly absorb liquids and cling together to create extremely tight clumps. Clumps will stay together when sifted, which means no more loose pieces falling into the “clean” litter. This also means that less litter is used to absorb the same amount of liquid, increasing the longevity of your bag, and requiring fewer top-offs, or refills.
